Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally occurring compound found in the resinous flower of cannabis, a plant with a rich history as a medicine going back thousands of years. Today the therapeutic properties of CBD are being tested and confirmed by scientists and doctors around the world. CBD is one of more than a hundred “phytocannabinoids,” which are unique to cannabis and endow the plant with its robust therapeutic profile.

CBD is closely related to another important medicinally active phytocannabinoid: tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the compound that causes the high that cannabis is famous for. These are the two components of cannabis that have been most studied by scientists.

Unlike THC, CBD does not make a person feel “stoned” or intoxicated. That’s because CBD and THC act in different ways on different receptors in the brain and body. Many people consider the effects of cannabis to be helpful in their own lives. Of course, this can be achieved without the high – or with less of a high by using CBD products.

Generally, people will try the different methods for ingesting CBD and choose the method that suits their need most effectively. Some common methods of consumption include:

• Tincture – This method of consumption involves placing a dose of CBD product sublingually (under one’s tongue).

• Drops – Drops can be taken either sublingually, added to food/drinks, or vaped.

We use premium, full-spectrum, hemp derived CBD in our Tinctures, and we use premium, hemp derived CBD isolate in our Drops.

All of our products contain THC below the federal legal limit of .3%. This is lab tested and verified on every batch, produced. Just check your QR code (on product) for specific batch results!

CBD products are not meant to induce any sort of intoxication or impairment. That being said, there is some trial and error required to find the right amount of CBD that works for you. Try using a little bit of it, and then gradually increase your usage, as necessary.

Cannabinoids are the primary chemical compounds produced by the cannabis plant and there are more than 100 identified cannabinoids. Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the most well-known cannabinoid produced by the cannabis plant and is the ONLY psychoactive cannabinoid. Of the 100+ non-psychoactive cannabinoids, Cannabidiol (CBD) is the most widely known.

The difference is based on what the CBD is made from and what is in the CBD oil, itself.

Full-spectrum CBD provides a full cannabinoid profile that utilizes several different cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids including trace amounts of THC below the federal legal limit of .3%.  Prohibition CBD utilizes “Full spectrum CBD”. (Used in our Tinctures).

Isolate CBD contains nothing except pure, isolated CBD. In other words, there are no other cannabinoids, terpenes, or flavonoids… just good old hemp derived CBD. (Used in our Drops).
